Protein Coffee (Proffee) Blowing Up the Amazon Search Bar

Get Big, Get Energized

Protein Coffee was on a slow and (mostly) steady ascent in terms of Amazon sarch volume throughout 2025. But it looks like the energy+macro nutrient combo has been putting the pedal to the Amazon-search-bar metal in the last couple months, possibly as a result of the push on social media for people to significantly increase their protein intakes.

Javvy was leading the early charge in terms of branded search, but more and more names are joining the fray, including bigger brands like Premier Protein.

The variety of non-branded search terms also widened in early 2026, with variations of “protein coffee,” “protein coffee powder,” “protein creamer,” and “protein kcup” all showing significant jumps in search volume since the start of the year.

If you look at the numbers for the top 10 search terms, we’re seeing a combined search volume of 323,000 in 2026 compared to 133,000 for the same period in 2025. That’s a ~143% YoY increase. And with Starbucks heavily promoting their protein-milk-infused offerings as well, it’s possible that this trend is nowhere near its peak yet. It’ll be interesting to see where things ultimately stabilize.
